Suspended between heaven and the sea, I had a really intense experience, made not only of relax but also of discovery among the Madonie folds.
I stayed as a couple in this delightful structure in a small village on the outskirts of the Parco delle Madonie, an ideal location for nature lovers looking for a space to restore mind and body.
Simple, refined and careful the structure struck me very much and as far as I could see from the videos and photos, it is very welcoming and comfortable in line with the context in which it is located. There is something that never hurts too: the Wi- Fi is free!
The landscape around is beautiful, I really enjoyed the possibility of hiking in the woods, sometimes simple walks sometimes real trekking routes in the nearby mountains. There are simple paths for everyone, for families with children, or more challenging routes up to those for expert hikers.
It is a continuous succession of dense woods, grassy slopes, high-altitude meadows, vast plateaus which are contrasted by high and overhanging walls. Here grows a large number of plants typical of different continents. A place of considerable interest, rich in dissimilar environments and biodiversity, which are a continuous source of inspiration for those who want to create nature and landscape photographs.
A few km away you can see the sea and other medieval villages, easily reachable once you arrive on site with a vehicle.
The genuine and complete breakfast was made with fresh and local products as well as the meals that need to be booked. Why?
Because to prepare them a very young chef cooks together with Deborah, owner of the structure that welcomes you. Deborah and Mr. Serafino, manage to bring back ancient and authentic flavors of our Sicily with really delicious recipes.
The welcome is warm and of extreme availability, Deborah and Marcus love what they do and share it generously. A special note for Attila our unexpected but great guide: he gave us an unforgettable walk in the mountains!
Thanks again for everything, expecially to my stay, suspended between heaven and the sea
Rossella.
