Every moment lived at Dimora dei Frati is wonderful, a gift for one’s soul, a hymn to the most authentic wellness. Between a holiday by the sea or in the mountains, this year I decided to choose the mountain for a couple of days of relaxation. I am an explorer and having the chance to explore this part of Sicily was perfect for me.

Debora is a very cordial owner, her kindness and availability goes beyond all imagination. As I said before, I am on a cultural journey through unexpected places in Sicily and in Gratteri I discover this lovely place, perfect in the “care” of the guest and in the details. I stress again (and perhaps never enough) the kind care for the guest and the availability of Leandro and Gianmarco, the staff you find in Wundergarten, always very kind and generous.

Excellent the cuisine, I enjoyed tasty traditional Sicilian appetizers and spaghetti with local ricotta flavored with zucchini and wild mint, very fragrant with delicate intensity. Excellent homemade tiramisu, in which simplicity and flavor are enhanced.

At breakfast I was surprised to look red onion jam with the primosale cheese: A unique goodness. We might always favor natural products rather than industrial products which are not lacking at breakfast and which represent more than anything else an experience of great genuineness.

I found the room that I have booked very spacious and accessorized, rich in modernity and breathtaking tradition. Wonderful breakfast, with “homemade” jams, where you feel and taste the goodness of the perfumes and the authentic flavors of the fruit, in particular those with lemon and figs, orange, apricots and strawberries, incredible delights.

After staying at the Dimora dei Frati I chose to spend an extra day as soon as I learned that it was possible to have a SPA available in your room, I tried it and the experience was … magnificent! The MyHomeSpa is a nest of extraordinary well-being and intimacy. I will definitely be back.
